Tips When Traveling to Orlando, Florida

You probably are worried that you are going to spend an arm and a leg to come to Orlando and spend a week or so at the Central Florida area attractions. You expect that you will go home and have a huge credit card bill, no cash left, and will be waiting a long time before can you go on vacation again. But this is not true! Dont trade your life away just so you can bring your family and kids to theme parks such as Walt Disney World, Sea World, and Universal! You can find great deals and prices that are not average or expected from the expensive Orlando tourist area. Youll find prices that are near, around, or close to just what you want to spend! Just follow these guidelines and tips and you will be on your way to savings!

Call ahead!  If you are planning on going on vacation to theme parks such as Walt Disney World, Sea World, or Universal, its best to plan ahead so that you are not booking lodging reservations at the last minute, resulting in expensive prices and junky hotels. Call and make your lodging reservations as soon as you can and as far ahead in advance as possible. This will help you have lower prices in the Disney area and allow you to save just by looking at your calendar and deciding when to come to Central Florida as soon as possible.

Come during the off-season!  Though it may be most convenient to come during the summer, it is not the cheapest or least busy time, thats for sure! If you come to Orlando and Walt Disney World in the very beginning or very end of the summer, this will help your lodging prices some. But if you come at a time that is not during the summer not only will the accommodation prices be much better because the tourist season is done, but the lines at the attractions will be shorter, the whether will be nicer, and the time will be better! If you can come to the Central Florida area in the Fall or the Spring or even the January time, you will save on money and the stress of crowds and lines. Take the kids out of school, let it be a special vacation this year, believe me, it will be worth it.

Call every tourist agency listed!  Youd be surprised, many times the lodging near Walt Disney World in Kissimmee, Davenport and Orlando will be full, but they have given or sold the tourist information place room for you to buy! Though they are marked up sometimes, they are still fairly good prices and if you are in a last-minute bind and need a room, but cant find one, this just might work for you! Dont give up hope; even the little mom-and-pop tourist help shacks may have rooms for you to buy!

Stay in a villa!  Instead if spending tons of money on one, two, or three hotel rooms to allow your family enough room, look into renting a luxury villa as your accommodations for a week or two. Though it seems like they would be more expensive, you are actually getting way more for your buck and usually the prices arent that much more, if not the same as your hotel package. Similar to the quality of a time share, a villa is 100 times better for a holiday or even luxury lodging than just a single one or two rooms, its a house with enough room for you to relax on your Walt Disney World vacation instead of feeling cramped and stuffed-in the entire time you are staying in Kissimmee, Davenport, or Orlando, Florida.

Come with a group!  If you have friends, family members, or even neighbors who want to come to Central Florida to visit, coordinate with them! Even if its on a holiday! Come as a group and youll have a chance to get specials on the price of hotel rooms or even resorts near Walt Disney World in Kissimmee, Davenport, and Orlando, Florida. Work with the sales manager and skip over the reservations desk. Tell the sales manager that you are a group and need a discount, low prices, or the best price that theyve got. This is a great idea and great chance not only have fun on vacation with friends and family, but it also allows you to have your own space and save money at the same time!!

Book on the Internet!  First of all, its easier than trying to call every hotel you know of. Second of all, its faster and less time consuming being able to search for accommodations, hotels, resorts, and villas yourself that are close by in Kissimmee, Davenport, and Orlando, to the famous Walt Disney World. But third of all, its cheaper  specials, best prices, and the lowest prices can usually be found on the Internet! Usually hotels and resorts and villa resorts allot a certain number of rooms or villas for the Internet at a certain price. Many times they dont fluctuate as much as regular prices do if you were to just call and book reservations.

Buy your own food!  Its easy to go on vacation and end up spending a fortune just on food, food, food! Going out to eat is a special treat, but an expensive habit to be forced into when you dont have anything else to eat, especially when you are in tourist areas like Davenport, Florida and Walt Disney World, the prices just get higher. So instead of booking a hotel room, book a villa or townhouse! These are not only great prices, but they have kitchens in them, not only just a little refrigerator like your hotel rooms in Orlando might have. You can have your own kitchen and buy your own low-cost groceries. Sure, you can still go out to eat in Kissimmee, Florida, but this will allow you to make cook of your meals for a much cheaper price than eating out every meal, being sick of restaurant food, and running out of cash.

Do other things!  Though you are most likely coming to Orlando for the attractions like Walt Disneyworld, Sea World, and Universal, there are so many other low cost things to do in Central Florida (Kissimmee, Davenport, Orlando) that you wont want to miss. First of all, be sure to stay in a hotel or resort that has things for you and the kids to do on days when you want a break from the theme parks. Make sure there is a pool, volleyball/tennis courts, a game room, and anything else that thy kids will enjoy (almost of much as the attractions!) There is also Cape Canaveral with the Kennedy Space Center and Coco Beach close by as well.

The Orlando, Kissimmee, and Davenport areas in Central Florida are great ones. They are also places that are crowded with tourists and a bit expensive due to all of the exciting and fun attractions. You need to know how to have a vacation to Walt Disneyworld without losing everything in your pocket. You can still have a good time! Dont worry about not having enough money, you can still go on vacation and have a wonderful time. The kids dont need to eat out every night or go to the attractions every day. Make sure there is a pool for them and a pool bar for you and just enjoy the day and your time here in Central Florida.
